The Spirit of Spyro - running the Sydney Marathon in aid of Greyhound Rescue

In August we said goodbye to our beloved best friend Spyro after a short battle with cancer. He was a gentle soul who charmed everyone he met from kids to cats, loved car rides and adventures, or just bombing into our work meetings when he wanted to go for walkies. We will miss him forever and we know that so many of our family, friends and colleagues will miss him too.

 

Spyro loved trying to join in with my marathon training, even if he was more of a sprinter than a long distance runner. To motivate me over the finish line at the Sydney Marathon in September, I'm fundraising in Spyro's memory to support Greyhound Rescue. We adopted Spyro from there in 2019, you can read more about our adoption story on their website.
