Story
Hi,
As most of you are aware we all lost Georgia way too young, Georgia was killed in a tragic car accident at the age of 15. Georgia’s family made the decision to donate Georgie’s organs and they knew that’s what Georgia would of wanted. Georgia’s grandfather was given the precious gift of a lung transplant 9 years ago and as a family we will be forever grateful to his donor.
We have decided to keep Georgie’s memory alive by starting up a Run Melbourne page in memory of our beautiful girl which is called "In Memory Of Georgia Larsen Team" all money we raise will be directly donated to Donate Life. If you cannot join us on the day we would appreciate it if you could donate to Donate Life, as gorgeous Georgia did!

Sunday 29th July is also the beginning of Donate Life awareness week so please consider talking to your family about this precious issue & also have it noted on your drivers licence.

DonateLife Victoria coordinates organ donation in Victoria and works with the Donor Tissue Bank of Victoria and Lions Eye Bank to consent organ donor families for potential tissue donation.
DonateLife Victoria also helps raise community awareness and understanding about organ and tissue donation to encourage all Victorian families to discuss donation and register their decision on the Australian Organ Donor Register.
