Story
The Cancer Council NSW does a lot.
For one, it provides funding to 292 researchers for 72 projects in 18 different institutions, finding ways to improve cancer outcomes across the cancer journey – from prevention and early detection, to treatment and survivorship.
Almost all funding (94%) is through community-based support.
Esther valued science and evidence-based practice. She also spent many years living with cancer.
