PINK STUMPS & GRACIE’S GIFT DAY - SATURDAY 16th FEBRUARY
SAVE THE DATE!!
Riverside Cricket Club’s Pink Stumps & Gracie’s Gift Day is back again in 2019.
Following on from the great success we had last year where we had over 300 people attend the day to help raise almost $70,000 to help fight cancer we are back again to raise as much money as we can for this worthwhile cause.
One of Riverside's youngest members, 5-year-old Gracie Money lost her battle with brain cancer on October 2nd, 2018 so this is a cause very close to our hearts. Gracie's parents Liam & Jo have asked that we support the RCD Foundation-Robert Connor Dawes in researching paediatric brain cancer so that other parents do not have to endure what they have over the past year.
Again we will combine Pink Stumps Day & Gracie’s Gift into one big fundraising event where we will be donating to both the McGrath Foundation in support of breast cancer awareness and to the RCD Foundation in support of paediatric brain cancer awareness.
Stay tuned to our page @gopinkforgracie for updates leading up to the day. We hope to see another big crowd there!

SUPPORTING BRAIN MATTERS
The Robert Connor Dawes (RCD) Foundation - In memory of Robert Connor Dawes. We support brain cancer matters in the areas of Research, Care and Development.
RESEARCH:
Brain tumour research is on the verge of exciting breakthroughs. We want to enable researchers to further understand and more completely treat brain tumours, including earlier detection, surgery and post surgery treatments (radiation & chemotherapy).
CARE:
Supporting young people with rehabilitation therapies and home assistance commonly not covered by insurance.
DEVELOPMENT:
Inspiring the next generation of brain cancer practitioners & researchers. Through awareness programs, Phd Scholarships and youth engagement activities, we're putting brain matters on the map.
