Story
In memory of Elizabeth O'Meagher (née Molloy), our beautiful Mother, Daughter, Sister, Auntie, Friend and, of course, Teacher.
True to Liz’s proud legacy, in lieu of flowers, she has asked that donations be made to the Asylum Seeker Resource Centre.
Be it through tutorial, mentorship, on a personal level, or simply listening, Liz’s motivations as a teacher were simple – to make every child feel loved, important and to make a difference to their lives, in some way, every day.
Liz absolutely adored her final years as an educator in the EAL program where she believed that she had found her calling and truly embraced her role in the refugee and asylum seeker community. So, given Liz's affinity towards students of adversity and disadvantage – please give generously to the Asylum Seeker Resource Centre in her memory.

The Asylum Seeker Resource Centre (ASRC) is both a place and a movement.
As an independent not for profit organisation, we are owned and run by our community. Our programs empower people seeking asylum to maximise their own physical, mental and social well-being. As a movement, we mobilise and unite communities to create lasting social and policy change for people seeking asylum in Australia.
We assist over 7,000 people seeking asylum each year from our centres in Footscray and Dandenong, Victoria.
