In Memory of Kelly Stone

Kelly Stone was the most selfless and loving person in the world. She always put others before herself, giving her time, her heart, and her strength without ever asking for anything in return.

She was the cherished daughter of Frank Stone and Kim Horder, a beloved niece to Wendy Jones, and a much loved sister to Des Stone, Melissa Gardiner, Michael Thomas, Jessica Stone, and Jacob Stone.

Her greatest pride and deepest love was being Mum to Jennifer O’Connor, Ashley Woods, Dean Taylor, and James O’Connor. Her children were her world, and everything she did was done with love for them at the centre of her heart.

Kelly was also a devoted pet mother to Captain and Louie, and anyone who knew her understood her extraordinary love for animals, finding injured birds and nursing them back to health. She could never walk past something hurting without trying to help. That kindness defined her life.

Kelly’s heart wanted to save the world. We like to imagine her now at the greatest theme park in the sky, teaming up with the Stranger Things crew and still saving the world in her own way.

She was passionate about helping others and was a proud supporter of White Wreath ‘Action Against Suicide’, to support those struggling in silence. Even now, in her honour, a GoFundMe has been set up for White Wreath so she can do one final act of fundraising.
