Story
Women in Mining NSW (WIMnet NSW) is fundraising in 2022 to support cancer sufferers in memory of someone very special, Kristy Christensen. Kristy was a leading light of the NSW minerals industry who was passionate in her support for women in our industry and has recently lost her life far too young from advanced breast cancer.
Look Good Feel Better is a free, national community service program, that helps cancer patients manage the appearance-related side-effects caused by any type of treatment for cancer though workshops and support, just as Kristy supported the women of our industry to have confidence in our place in this sector.

Look Good Feel Better (Cancer Patients Foundation Limited)
Look Good Feel Better is a national community service program dedicated to teaching cancer patients how to manage the appearance-related side-effects caused by cancer treatment. Women, men and teens participate in a practical workshop which covers skin care, make-up and head wear demonstrations, leaving them empowered and ready to face their cancer diagnosis with confidence.
