Story
82 years young
5.8.1937 - 5.9.2019
On the morning of Thursday 5th September 2019, we lost this kind and beautiful soul from our lives.
Mum was one who always put others first, and her happiest times was when she was surrounded by loved ones at our frequent gatherings. In the final chapter of her life, Mum was diagnosed with Vascular Dementia and we sadly bore witness to her mind and body slowly become stricken by this insidious condition.
Therefore, we are asking our family and friends who are intending to send flowers or cards to consider instead making a donation to Dementia Australia. These will help fund important research to combat this terrible illness as well as provide help and support for those living with dementia. We truly believe this is what Mum would have preferred.
Donations made through this platform are secure and will be remitted directly through to Dementia Australia.
