Animal Welfare League - Phil’s 50th

My darling Phil,

November 24 is your 50th birthday. In honour of you and the many little lives we saved with our ‘recycled’ dogs, I’m asking those who knew and loved you to donate to the Animal Welfare League in your memory, so that together we can carry on your love for all dogs great and small.

Happy heavenly 50th birthday, my love.

Always, Ness (and Ollie, Poppy, Lulu, Rosie, Scooter, Harriet, Harper and Scruffy) xoxo

*Donations made through this platform are secure and will be remitted directly through to the Animal Welfare League*

Animal Welfare League NSW

Animal Welfare League NSW is a registered charity that has been operating for over 60 years. We provide expert care to surrendered, neglected and abandoned companion animal across NSW. Our vision is that all companion animals in NSW have a safe and loving home. We strive for this through our work in rehoming, education and discount desexing programs. We also send out our inspectors who are authorised to investigate allegations of animal cruelty. As part of our Getting to Zero philosophy (G2Z) we are also committed to achieving zero euthanasia of healthy and treatable cats and dogs. Our charity is funded by generous animal-lovers and kind volunteers help keep our doors open. There are many ways people can get involved with us including by donating, fundraising or volunteering. Our shelter and vet clinic is open 7 days a week. If you would like to adopt an animal from us, or if you live in a regional area you can contact your closest AWL NSW volunteer branch - for more about our work go to
