Raising Money For Cancer Council Tasmania
Raising Money For Cancer Council Tasmania
Story
Hi family and friends!
Over the next six weeks I will be raising money for Cancer Council Tasmania.
As many of you know I lost my beautiful mother to bowel cancer 10 years ago at the young age of 49 and as she would have been celebrating her 60th birthday this year I thought I would do this in honour of her memory.
I will have an online donation page and there will also be donation tins at the JJs bakeries in Longford and Kmart along with a BBQ after the Westbury vs Burnie Greater Northern cup game in which the Westbury team will wear a one off alternative playing strip supporting the Cancer Council Tasmania with all proceeds going towards the cancer council.
Im sure most of us know someone who has had to battle with this awful disease and the effect it has not only on the person but the family and friends can also take its toll.
All monies raised will assist with the ongoing research and support of people and families who are currently fighting cancer in Tasmania so any donation recieved will be greatly appreciated.
