WE RUN TO REMEMBER - 11th - 12th April, 2025 

Seems I have a score to settle, in deepest respects, with a little hill I once hobbled down. 

I'll start running from Stockton Ferry ramp, meeting firstly on the Newcastle side to catch the ferry over, on Friday @ 7am the 11th April. 

I will then meet you all 170km away at Moonan Flats pub on Saturday 12th April for an afternoon of laughter, dancing and remembering Lauren Pritchell. 

Such an beautiful human, inside and out - a daughter, sister, wife, mum, aunty, cousin and best friend.

Lauren was a caring and compassionate soul. She was a confidante, a quiet achiever, a gentle companion and often quite the comedian! She had a smile to light up the room and yes, man,  did she look good on a dance floor ! 

I am doing this run to raise money for Never2Young & Bowel cancer Australia.

The money raised will devastatingly be too late to help her but I believe she would want us to do all we could to give our support to the increasing number of young families, just like hers, from going through this earth shattering diagnosis all too late and the devastation this caused.

Please donate as little or as much as you can - and share this link far and wide -  to help me raise awareness for Never2Young and an almighty $40,000 for Bowel Cancer Australia. 

I think of Loz every single time I run - and every other day - I think of how hard she fought , of how brave and selfless she was while going through something so shocking and unfair. 

I run to remember Loz 💜 To attempt to feel even a fraction of the pain she suffered daily for far too long and to never ever forget the great sadness her loss has caused but to grow from that pain and make her proud. 

I will be so grateful for any encouragement and support.
