In memory of Peter Benjamin Smith's passing on 30th May, 2016 I am intending to raise funds for Bears Of Hope Pregnancy & Infant Loss Support. This charity was chosen for their invaluable support during the traumatic event to Pete's parents
I'm looking to achieve this by speedrunning Final Fantasy IX live on Twitch.tv/mediocrepoet. Final Fantasy IX holds a special place in my and my brother's (Peter's father) heart as one of the games that made us truly fall in love with video games. During Peter's funeral proceedings, two songs from Final Fantasy IX were chosen to honour his life.
For this event, I'd be aiming to complete the game in under 10 hours (World record pace is under 9 hours), while providing entertainment, information and raffle prizes for donations.

The cot donated will be in memory of Peter Benjamin Smith, giving countless other parents access to a service and support that is seldom thought of during the trauma of infant loss.
