In Memory of Edvin Krsevan

Edvin Krsevan, beloved husband and father, lost his battle to renal failure and associated complications on March 2, 2020. Whilst his treatment improved his prognosis for a while, there is still so much work to be done to ensure renal failure is managed and treated with a holistic approach, particularly for those with limited mobility where accessing services isn't so easy.  In lieu of flowers we are asking our loved ones to support Kidney Health Australia who were instrumental in funding cutting-edge research into kidney disease. It was alarming to see so many young people affected by kidney disease in the Renal units where he was treated -their quality of life is quite limited as many wait for donors or research advancements. 

Kidney Disease Australia creates awareness, encourage early detection and connect those with kidney disease to information and support. KDA provide a range of care and support networks for patients, their families and carers.  They aim to reduce the rising incidence of kidney disease and ease the burden of its immense human and financial cost.
