City - Bay Fun Run

 I am dedicating this run to our little angel Jarvis Leigh and wish to raise money for the Bonnie Babes foundation. This foundation raises funds to assist in medical research projects which aim to reduce the statistics of one in four pregnancies ending in loss, as well as providing grief counselling services for suffering families. 
I also wish to dedicate this run to my other four children Taison, Finleigh, Jarrah and River, without them I would not have survived the pain and grief of losing Jarvis. I held Jarvis for a long time and watched his little face and wanted him to open his eyes, he was a beautiful baby boy and his life was ended before he had a chance to live. A knot in his cord which was discovered too late cut off his life support as he was trying to make it in to the world. Living with this loss is something I have just had to come to terms with and it never goes away, it never gets easy and I will never understand it. It is a hard thing to reach out for support when you are hurting so much. It is a hard thing to listen to well meaning people offer words of support when all you want is to be able to hold your baby, it is a hard thing to watch and listen to mothers around you talk about their babies and pregnancies when inside you just want to scream.  "Time does not heal but with time you learn to live with the reality"  I offer understanding and sympathy to anyone that has lost a child and i am offering time and dedication to now complete a run in memory of Jarvis.
The run is now over and I completed the run in 1hr 6min. all the members of the Beachport Fitness crew and my sister also completed the run within our goal time of 1 1/2hrs... Fantastic effort from everyone. Running to make a difference has been a wonderful experience and a great achievement all round.
